Ombelles

$289

Tax included.

This model is the result of a collaboration with Jeanne De Marguerye and the Abbaye d'En Calcat, and a contemporary adaptation of Dom Robert's Ombelles in a panoramic setting, hand-drawn by Francesco Battista.

Dom Robert (1907-1997), pseudonym of Guy de Chaunac-Lanzac, was born in Nouvelle Aquitaine. A Benedictine monk at En Calcat Abbey, he was one of the masters of contemporary tapestry. His artistic life was made up of contemplation of nature, sketches, drawings, elaboration of cartoons, numbered translation of colors, and monitoring of weaving in the Aubusson workshops.
