The artist places these initial paintings within a project that works directly with architectural space, offering an infinite variation of rhythms. By choosing to use them as wallpaper, she was able to capture what she sees as the essence of a library: not the heaviness of an overloaded piece of furniture, but rather an intangible interior landscape. This is characterised by infinite displacements that bring into play the depth of intimacy, in dialogue with the concrete space that is its receptacle.

This work was presented for the first time at the Domaine de Chaumont sur Loire in 2022.

The green and violet solid colours have been designed by the artist to match the Bibliothèque(s) décor perfectly.
