In 1962, Jacqueline Duhême published a children's book about the inaugural cruise of Le France, which recounts Igor & Irma's journey on board this ship. Today, we are adapting this illustration to create a wall decoration on a theme that will appeal to lovers of beautiful stories.
"From nothing, the enthusiastic Jacqueline Duhême has illustrated the greatest authors of the 20th century for young people. This former student of Henri Matisse, friend of Jacques Prévert and inventor of the reportage drawing followed Jackie Kennedy and Charles de Gaulle around the world. She was also hired as an illustrator for Elle magazine for twenty years, where she illustrated recipes and children's stories. - Beaux Arts
